Actress Ufoma McDermott reveals she had her son with IVF, says people need to appreciate knowledge

Popular Nollywood actress Ufoma McDermott has revealed that she had her son through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). She made the revelation to educate people on what it means to be a parent. 

The actress shared a post on her Instagram to talk about how she conceived her son through IVF. She also shared a photo of him smiling by her side. 

According to her, people shouldn't be denied the joy of being a parent because of an idea on how society views conceiving a child without the natural procedure. She expressed that science has made things better for everyone.

The actress noted that people should learn to appreciate the knowledge given to us by God. She also revealed that she didn't have her child until two and half years after her marriage. 

She explained that she had not been ready in the beginning, adding that she had always hoped for twins and she decided to use In Vitro Fertilization when she became ready to become a mother.
